Broken on Second Fish
by MATTHEW
Snapped in half first trip... a 5 inch brook trout. Snapped like a pencil on a light hook set. I kept it in a rod case and had zero damage. Had to have been bad out of the factory, or just a junk product.
TPS 661-2
by James
I purchased the TPS 661-2, my first and last split handle ultra lite. Other than the handle, I enjoyed the rod and would recommend it.
Joy to Fish With
by Bill
This rod is a true joy to fish with. I have caught big bull bluegill on it and slab crappies, the fight was great. Casts great. Works a jig great. Nice fast tip and good back bone to control the fish.
Trout-Panfish
by Jim
My Trout-Panfish rod was made in China. If I had known before purchasing, I would have spent a little more for a USA made rod. I just got it today so I have not used it yet. I will adjust my rating later.
Was hoping for more
by Squirrel Daddy Cane
I ordered 6’6” one piece rod with high anticipation. The folks at FishUSA shipped immediately! The good. It’s well made. I love the blank. The guides are great too. It’s definitely a fast action and I love the bend. That’s about all the good I have to say. My number one dislike is that it’s tip heavy and the balance doesn’t sit in the reel stem. I wish the reel seat was reversed for more rearward weight. I solved this issue with a 1” chair leg rubber stopper added to the rear most cork. It’s heavy to me also. I prefer my Bass Pro Shops panfish elite for balance, casting distance, price, and weight. The TFO has its place but to me it needed adjustments to get it right. Just one dude on the Internet’s opinion.
