Best Buy !
by Rick
I really like this fly rod , it is a pleasure to cast and fish with ! It does everything I want it to do ! Roll casts exceptionally well , it is very accurate and will cast at distance
for nervous fish ! I like the finish of this fly rod I own it in a 7 weight ! This rod cast as well as much more expensive fly rods. I really tried pushing this fly rod as hard as I could to see if it would fold under pressure but just casted farther and farther. I had no problems getting 80 foot casts out of this fly rod when set up correctly ! It is very impressive for being a very inexpensive fly rod and I think it is a real best buy .
Rod snappedduring the 3rd use
by Jeffingh
While at the Kern River, the rod's 1st section snapped in two with 4x leader on a snag, not an unusual situation. I would not buy this if I had of known it was so weak. Then attempting to get the warranty repair done, TFO has one of the worst customer service departments for a rod that cost $375. I am very disappointed in the performance of the rod and even more dismayed by their customer service. Should have bought another Sage.
AMAZING

For the money, this rod compares to the rods twice as expensive and has good flex. Light also. Great backup rod or beginner rod.
