Temple Fork Outfitters Mangrove Fly Rod
Select from the models below
Temple Fork Outfitters Mangrove Fly Rods are tuned for the most avid anglers who require fast action fishing rods that load quickly and deliver large flies to big fish with little wear and tear. The TFO Mangrove Fly Rods design is suited for both fresh and saltwater fly fishing and is especially adept when sight fishing because it lets you pick up the line quickly and cast accurately. Appearances are deceiving as a Mangrove Fly Rod looks plain, but TFO's exclusive TiCr blank coating technology on the carbon fiber blank gives strength and durability without making the rod feel heavy or sacrificing reserve power. The rod tip remains on the soft side as compared to others with a fast action, which helps for feeling line slide through guides and easier for the less experienced to cast. Tactical Series guides are both unaffected by saltwater or braided lines. Indicators display the rod weight on the burled cork grip, which is designed slim to promote less fatigue. Fighting butts are featured on the 6-10 and 12 weight rods. Each model comes complete with aluminum locking reel seats and a machined hook keeper as well as the manufacturer's lifetime no-fault warranty. High-performance fly rods that actually suit the needs of the hardcore angler to hurl big flies yet are easy to load for the less experienced are rare, but they can be found in versatile Temple Fork Outfitters Mangrove Fly Rods!

Great Rods, value and warrantee !
I have both the 8wt and 10wt TFO Mangrove and am quite pleased with both. Both cast beautifully for warm water species like bass and pike especially using a Cortland Compact series line. The up locking reel seat works smoothly and the two nuts provide for positive reel lock. The Esox version is built on the same blank as the Mangrove.
