Casts light jigs well

Got to try out the Eyecon a couple of days on a local lake, haven't hooked anything really good yet but know that the 6' 3" medium light rod will cast 1/16 and 1/8 ounces jigs well and is very sensitive. Hooked and landed several walleye up to 18 inches, can't wait to get into the bigger ones. Can't rate it a 5 until I test it out on some bigger fish!

I purchased this rod for vertical jigging walleyes out of the Detroit River. I now have four of them and wouldn't use any other rod for river jigging. The sensitivity is outstanding, and the backbone strength is amazing. I have landed hundreds of 'eyes and a 52 lb. sturgeon and a 30 lb. musky with these rods. Great investment.

Finest rod I have owned. You can feel marble eyes breathing on your bait! Very sensitive with great backbone. I can't imagine there being a better rod! I use it for walleyes and smallmouths. Not worried about any size of those two fish and would probably handle a big pike or musky if played right. It is my go to rod fishing for anything but musky.
these rods are really sensitive and light. work great for jigging walleye

omg, I was drifting with my new Eyecon in one hand and my trusty ole Ugly Stick in the other. The sensitivity was so comparably noticeable! I never would have though a pole could make that much of a difference. I will be retiring all all the Ugly Sticks to the "house rods" pile and buying more St Croixs.
Great jigging rod great balance

Paired it with an Okuma Trio reel and it is my go to for bass fishing now. I can feel all the action underwater and no problem pulling fish out of weeds.
