SpiderWire Stealth Braid
SpiderWire Stealth Braid provides the manageability and body of a monofilament line with the strength and sensitivity of a braided line. The Teflon pressure treated PE microfibers make this superbraid line quiet and smooth casting. Stealth Braid will not cut into your guides and resists digging in on the reel spool. Love this line. I have used a few different brands of braid and this is my favorite. Always remember to put mono on your spool FIRST and then put the braid on. I hear people complain about " the line spins on my reel". It will not if you put some mono line on first. Doesn't take much but makes all the difference. I always use a fluorocarbon leader before the bait so fish don't see it.
Spiderwire Braided 'moss green'
many years ago a good friend of mine introduced me to Spiderwire Braid...like "Fusion", or "Stealth" and I refuse to use 99 % of the other lines out there. Fireline is the ONLY other "SuperLine" I will use for fishing. I have heard people say "well these are junk they spin around my reel when I try spooling it." -all lines will if you don't get your initial knot tied tight enough to the spool (I say). and always use a bit of that sticker that comes in the box with the line OVER the tightened knot as a back-up before I begin winding/spooling up line. Spiderwire is absolutely powerful, it breaks 6 to 10 pounds MORE than what the box lists-where with Flourocarbons, and Monofilaments tend to break very near what they are listed , AND still have quite a bit of Memory-where Spiderwire doesn't. Memory in a line is where it coils like a phone cord...can cause nasty tangles in Bait-cast...and close-faced reels.
