The Shimano Sienna Ice Spinning Combo is a well-balanced fusion of Sienna's FG reel series and Ice Rod to offer you choices in a variety of actions! The streamlined and sensitive Sienna Ice Rod ultra-light and medium-light models boast extended high-viz tip sections to assist strike detection. These models are also equipped with featherweight but strong aluminum oxide guides and coil guides for light lines and jigging. The medium and medium-heavy models use aluminum oxide guides for their strength when fighting bigger fish. The ice combo spinning rods longer than 36 inches are outfitted with the Sienna SN1000FG reel while the shorter ones come complete with the SN500FG – each of these popular ice fishing reels feature the Super Stopper II for instantaneous anti-reverse with no back play.           Great combo for the price. Reel is smooth and the rod is sensitive enough for pan fish. Fish USA customer service was great, shipped the next day.
