Good but, iffy.

Broke after 2 trips to the river. Attached the hook to the eye on the pole to tighten the line and it just keeps reeling on any drag setting. Can't tighten the line.
I've used these reels for over 30yrs. First bad experience.

I have 5 of these reels. IX 1000(2), IX 2000(2), IX 4000(1). Smooth, quick fire bail, rear drag, take a beating and a reel that never fails. GREAT reels for the money. These reels spoiled me. I compare all reels to my Shimano Ix's. Will update my rods with IX's before next year.

You can't beat it for the money. It works very well. I am happy with it

Great Value For Money and Great All Around

Got this reel a couple months ago and fished with it countless times. I have caught a carp, trout, bass, and a few bluegill on it and absolutely love how it feels.

2 Blues

$12.99 for this reel, It can't be beat. I just brought in a 7lb 10oz and a 5lb 1oz on my little city lake. I like the rear drag, seems more convenient during a fight.
