The Shimano Clarus Centerpin is an awesome rod...the 13 ft can handle just about anything and it's a great all-around fishing rod for center pinning in this price range. One of the most affordable center pin rods on the market. Highly recommend for anglers of all skill levels. Well-built, consistent quality which is expected of any Shimano product. You won't be disappointed in this rod...I've landed large Steelhead on this rod and it's held up very well with zero problems. Would definitely buy again.

I have both the 11'3" and the 13', and I love them both. The 11'3" is great for the Lake Erie tributaries and can protect light leader effectively, while the 13' will handle any fish you hook into. Especially for the price, it's very hard to beat the value and quality you get with these rods.
