The Shimano Clarus Casting Rod targets a wide array of species! This Shimano rod is made with a high-modulus graphite blank, which is lightweight and strong. The graphite helps to increase sensitivity and responsiveness, giving you a nice, crisp feeling rod.           I've been using Shimano Clarus Rods ever since Shimano put them on the market. I have the 6', 6'6", and now the 7'2" all in Med/Light with a Fast tip. I use them fishing the Texas Coast for Speckled Trout, Redfish and Flounder and they are Great. Plenty of backbone for fighting a big red but light enough you can cast jigs or top-water baits for hours without getting your arm tired.
