          The rod tip broke the first time fishing. When I went to get it replaced under the 1 yr warranty I was treated poorly and subjected to their archaic warranty process.

          At 66 years old and fisherman most of my life I have never lost a reel. First Redington Crosswater fly combo I have purchased and an hour into fishing a fast running steelhead run the reel is headed down streem and out of site. I contacted Redington and their response was "sorry about your reel". My advice to you if you wish to buy it you had better put a safety line on the reel or say good bye as it goes down streem because I know it was tight when I got in the water. Good luck with this one !!!
