Rapala X-Rap Jointed Shad
The Rapala X-Rap Jointed Shad features an exaggerated swimming action which allows for slower retrieve to trigger sluggish or finicky fish. Near neutral buoyancy, with a slight rise, provides a very natural "wounded-minnow" action. Combine it with the X-Rap finish and 3-D holographic eyes, and no fish is safe.

I Caught A Northern Pike (Silver Blue)!
by C. Colburn
Yesterday my friend and I went out fishing towards evening, water was murky; we had been fishing for about an hour couple bites but no hook ups. I decided to put on my New Silver Blue Rapala X-Rap Jointed Shad and I was reeling the Silver Blue color in at a medium retrieve and I paused the lure right at the dock and that’s when this 20 - 25 inch Northern Pike BURSTED from RIGHT UNDERNEATH my lure at attacked the heck outta this thing! -MAN THAT WAS FUN! The water was only about 5 feet deep right at the front of the dock so I put this lure on because it runs at the right depth range and I choose a bright silver color (Silver Blue) so the fish can see the lure in the murky water.
Remember: the darker the water choose a lighter shiny, brighter color that is visible in darker water. And for clearer water choose a color that is more natural to the baitfish in the water.
Awesome pike, musky, big walleye, and bass lure
Best shallow running big fish lure in my box, bar none. Great for pike, muskies, big walleyes, and bass, cast or trolled, fast or slow. Run great at any speed from crawl to a burn, easily troll at 5mph. Brings out whatever DNA walleyes share with pike and muskies, because it makes the big 'eyes behave like them, and the 'eyes I catch on them average 2 feet long.

I did not try it yet, but I was amazed when I unwrapped it. I think it is the most beautiful Rapala I have seen. I am planning to use it for lake trout first. Can't wait!

GOOD BAIT BUT ITS JOINTED AND THE TAIL ENDS FALLS APART WHEN BIG FISH GETS HOOKED ON TAIL PORTION. HOOKS ALSO RUST QUICKLY. ABOUT A WEEK CONTINUOUS USE
