Great Combo for Kayak fishing...

by Flounder pounder -

I fish out of a kayak and the Okuma Safina Pro Spinning Rod/Reel Combo is perfect. Its not over priced so if a reel falls overboard, I don't feel the hurt of losing a more expensive set. I fish the marshlands of North Florida and the 602-25 can handle a 32" redfish with ease... I have the 602-25 and the 662-35 models and they are all I need for fishing the creeks and river. They hold up good in salt water when rinsed and cleaned

Good find

by olcoot

Went fishing for crappie and found this combo just laying on the ground. It was spooled with braided line. This is the cheapest outfit yet (free) and it's a keeper. Nice and smooth, haven't cast it yet, but there's always another time. My buddy larry almost soiled himself when he found it. A little cleaning and oiling and it'll be good as new.

Great combo

This is a great combo for the price. I caught a 4 lb. bass the first time I tested it out using a worm. Great action and feel. Definitely worth the money.

Does the job, at a great price.

This rod and reel are on stand by with a drop shot or fineses rig, ready to use on a missed strike with a big worm or creature! Strong enough to do the job, and light enough to place a bait quickly.
