Use these reels trolling for trout in a reservoir with cow bells. They work very well. Great value.

Good reel but not good for backlashes

I really enjoy this reel so much that I ordered a second reel but finally had the backlash problems and in two cases my 17# test line got inside the reel that is enclosed on the right hand side and I had to spend a lot of time to get it out. I think there is too much clearance space that allows the line to get twisted inside the reel.
