does it all, love it

buying again I really like these reels. For the money you can not go wrong. Very smooth and you can easily cast them and great for trolling. Have caught all kinds of fish with this and still works well. I like that I do not have to bring a whole lot of different rods with me when spending the day on the lake. I can troll and then cast and also use the counter to suspend bait just a little off the bottom when drift fishing. watching depth finder it is easy to change depth of bait as bottom changes. The counter does not seem to affect casting ranges.

Calibrate your line counters

by knot guilty

Bought the reel because of the counter and flippin switch, love the positive drag system. CW 354 backed with 123 ft. 20 lb. Trilene Big Game topped with 150 yds. Power Pro 20 lb. braid hit the 100 ft. mark calibrating my reels thanks to the Berkley clip on line counter and measured 100 ft. to verify. Seems this info is Top-Secret . Will see how the reels perform this season give them a 4 for now.
