          If your looking to get into salmon/stealhead fishing this is a must have. I purchased the 9'6" ML for fall salmon fishing on the Wisconsin tributaries as a college student. This rod has performed fantastic for both float fishing and launching shad raps exponentially further than any other rod I have owned. In short: this rod is cheap, great quality and versatile for both float fishing and throwing lures.

          I picked up the 10' ML as my back up rod to save me some time when switching between slinky (bottom bouncing) and float fishng. Used it for float fishing with spinning gear During my four days out with it so far, it has served its purpose well. Its definitely a little clunkier than my loomis and I don't think I would bottom bounce with it but, I was surprised how well it handled some very hot steelhead in pretty heavy water (2000+CFS). Also a great Rod for limited time on water and you cant justify spending serious money on gear Great Price.
