Northland Hard Rock Mooska Tungsten Jig
Northland Hard Rock Mooska Jigs are sure to be a favorite when it comes to finesse fishing deep water cover for perch and panfish. The heavy weight molded tungsten head provides an ultra fast drop rate, plummeting through slush, thick vegetation, brush, and current getting to deep fish. Northland Hard Rock Mooska Jigs feature a premium 60 degree Lip Stick fine wire hook. The angle of the hook shank provides for better hook ups over the standard straight shank hooks, putting more of the hook in the fish's mouth.

Bought two. Tried to get paint out of eye and the whole hook pulled out of the body. Sent both back they sent two more. Hooked one blue gill and the hook bent out. This is a product that they put on the market knowing it had problems.
My go-to ice fishing jig
by JignSlabs -
If I had to choose one jig for panfish, it would be these Northland tungsten Mooskas. My favorite is size 14, but size 12 is good for deeper water. Size 16 is good for finicky biters. Occasionally I've had problems with the tungsten separating from the hook, but that is normally after catching a lot of fish and prying the jigs out of a lot of lips... so I don't complain too much about that.

Great for ice fishing for smelt, small trout panfish et c. I improvised and used these in summer under small bobbers for catching minnows for bait at a remote lake - worked like a charm!
They just seem to like this jig.

I use this for winter ice fishing, spring perch and bluegill. Tip the jig with a mousse or wax worm and it is a great lure.

I always have a black or silver tied to one of my rods. My #1 goto panfish jig by far.
