Product Details

Johnson Beetle Spins have been a favorite of anglers for over 50 years. These baits are the direct ancestor of the original Beetle Spins that many have tried to imitate. Beetle Spins feature a simple design that works great on crappie, panfish, bass, and even walleye. Beetle Spins are equipped with a cupped Colorado blade that produces louder, harder vibrations to attract fish from farther away. The softer body and the split-tail design provide a livelier, unmatched action.

  • Louder, harder vibration due to cupped blade
  • Please note: the 1/32 ounce has a single tail

Beetle Spins are my go to lure for crappies and walleyes

by

I have caught way more crappies and walleyes on Beetles than I can count! I caught a 3# 6 oz white crappie on one about 6 years ago, my PB ever!

Something about this simple bait makes them excellent

by

This is a lure that has been around forever and doesn't have the attraction of being new and modern, but a selection of these is a must have for the tackle box. They are easy to use and can be worked vertically or cast and retrieved, fished slow or fast, or anything in between these. They are snag resistant. All the colours are good - I'd go with orange or yellow for walleye.
