Gerber Magniplier Fishing and Angling Pliers apply everything to take advantage of ergonomics and provide more power and control. Plus, SALT Rx treatment provides protection against corrosion in tough environments. The exclusive Bearhand Control maximizes user comfort in three ways to boost power to the hand: 1) handle spacing is purposeful to engage force where the hand is strongest; 2) an enlarged finger choil enables added stability; 3) the nose is also set consciously off-axis so you can more easily view and control hook removal. Smart, right? Gerber even considers how to maximize comfort when it came to the metal used to make the Magniplier Fishing and Angling Pliers. The hot-forged aluminum bent easily into an ergonomic shape and now provides tremendous strength. The fishing pliers are spring-loaded to be less hand-tiring and with a lock to stay closed. Further, the nylon sheath contains a belt loop, D-ring, and a coiled lanyard. If there is a way to improve fishing pliers, then the Gerber Magniplier Fishing and Angling Pliers lead the way!

Lightweight & Comfortable

I like these pliers for a number of reasons. They are lightweight and very comfortable to hold in your hand. The cutters are a nice feature as well. Gerber makes great product and they did a good job with this one as well.
