This Jacket is exactly what i was looking for. I was looking for a cross between a vest and a waterproof jacket and thats exactly what it is. Its lightweight, durable, and keeps my dry and is as good as my gortex gear that was double the price.
Perfect wading jacket

This jacket is really good quality, its a nice light jacket and will be perfect for spring and fall fishing conditions, as well as those days when it might rain. It has a ton of pockets for all my fishing gear. The price really doesn't reflect the quality of this jacket, I've paid a lot more and gotten a lot less. I'm extremely happy with this coat.
F.T. Cascades jacket

Just the jacket I needed. Plenty of pockets for gear. Blocks wind and rain nice. Order size you wear. I wear a large and still had room for couple of sweats. Seen a few of these on the creeks.
I read the reviews and thought this one has good quality. I recently purchased this. I only used it for two days of fishing. I put my little fishing tackle in the pocket. Now the threads around the pockets around waist are all loose.
Best Lightweight Jacket for the money

I have purchased many "waterproof" jackets over the years, but the Frogg Togg Cascade jacket is the best by far, for far less money. It has more than enough storage to take along all the gear you will need for a days trip. It is 100% water and wind proof, and with a few clothing layers underneath, it'll also keep you warm all day long.
I bought this jacket as I wanted a good rain jacket for on the boat and on the river. I got one trip on the boat with it and the zipper pull broke in half. Also the stitching is coming apart in various spots.
I bought this jacket last fall on a rainy days when the weather was warmer than expected. Since then I've worn it about 9 or 10 times including during a heavy downpour with wind gusts to 20 mph. This jacket held up pretty well against the wind but only so-so at keeping me dry. The water got down my wrist cuffs and soaked my arm during casting. I would say for the price this jacket is a good value or as a backup to leave in your car or truck for emergencies. If you're more of a hard core type of angler you' be better off spending some extra cash and getting a better quality jacket.

Low Price-Great Product

Excellent product that with its many pockets allows you to go to the stream without carrying extra vests, backpacks, waistbags, etc. At more than one third the price of Goretex garments, you can't beat it. My only complaint, if it really is one, is that the nylon is noisier than some of the high priced wading jackets. But heck, in a roaring downpour on a heavy flowing stream, you don't notice it. You do notice how dry you are.

Recieved the jacket and wore it to the river the same day. A thunder storm rolled through and I just pulled up the hood and was perfectly comfortable. Plenty of pockets for gear stowage.
