As far as foul weather headwear is concerned, I dont think there is a better product especially at this price point! And this is why one stays in the car and the other is packed in a dry bag with my Pilot Guide suit. Brim is wide enough to keep the rain water from dripping down the back of the neck and the sun out of your eyes when the skies open back up.

This is a great little hat for the price. the fit is decent. The brim is not too wide but still protects you from the sun. There is just enough wire in the edge of the brim to give it some shape. I wear it whenever I fish and just about every time I am working outside. The only thing I haven't done yet is get caught in a rain storm to test it. The color on mine looks more green than stone.
