The new Frabill Floating Trout Net is meant for anglers who desire to get close to their prize and still have a safe catch-and-release, whether by wading, kayaking, or fly fishing. In either classic teardrop or square, the floating hoop design allows the net frame to rest directly on the water surface for easy and proper catch-and-release action. No more wasted motion at that critical moment! Additionally, the dipped tangle-free micromesh netting created with a flat bottom protects the fish so it can be safely returned to catch another day. Frabill developed the Trout Floating Net with a comfort rubber handle to enhance your grip and keep it comfortable in your hand. Get out on the water with the new Frabill Floating Trout Net!

Frabill has a homerun here. It's lightweight, sturdy, and the price is really good. Love the size choices. I picked up the 17 x 22 for steelhead tribs, and I have to say that size teardrop shape is more than adequate to corral those big boys (and ladies). I rest it top up and flat against my back. It's never in the way and easy to get to when needed. I'm a C&R guy, so I really like the flat bottom and rubberized netting for safeguarding their spines and mucus membrane on their skin. I recently bought the 9 x 20 square small brook trout won't slip through the bottom as they can do with my regular trout landing net.
