Poor quality rod, worse customer service

by

I've had two of these rods break on the cast and another one on a hook set. All three times, the break was at the connection point. Each time has been a nightmare trying to get Daiwa to honor the warranty. Dozens of emails/phone calls, and the first time around I ended up having to pay ~$65 for the replacement, even though it should have been 100% covered by warranty. Well that replacement rod lasted about a month before the same thing happened, and now they're giving me a very hard time about replacing the second one. I won't be buying anymore Daiwa rods.

Fix the s.p pole.

by

So this pole isn't all that bad. It cast decently far, and is nice and sensitive for those easy hook sets, however after a week of owning it and not catching anything. I was mid cast and it snapped like a twig. I am not impressed I have a 60$ pole same size that has lasted over a year. Please fix this issue.
