You get a lightweight and sensitive rod blank of composite construction, a rod handle and butt made of cork, and stainless steel guides for the line. If you don't want to spend a small fortune to sling rooster tails, cast crankbaits and rigs, or float nightcrawlers, you'll still find great value and quality in a Berkley Cherrywood HD Spinning Rod!

  • Lightweight stainless steel guides and inserts
  • Cork handles for added comfort and grip

Sweet rods!

by Josh

I ordered two of the Berkley cherry wood 7ft Medium Heavy spinning rods, and couldn’t be happier. I already own a 6.6 medium for a casting reel, so I knew what to expect. It’s the best bang for your buck, period. The 7ft MH serves great double duty for fresh and saltwater. I’ve caught several bass, crappie, flounder, trout, redfish, and big black drum off these poles. They are sensitive enough to feel bites on small panfish, but strong enough to pull in very large fish too. I chose the 2 piece rods, so I can break them down incase we travel/fish while in the wife’s SUV. I bought a few lews combos, and the rods broke after a year or two. These have been a fantastic replacement, that I like better than the original. I’d say the 7ft is the way to go. And when they go on sale for under 24 bucks.. you won’t regret it.
