Angora yarn is difficult to find. I needed a bit for a Christmas stocking - it was perfect! FishUSA was a surprising place to find yarn that can be used beautifully for knitting. It was a pleasure!

I'm tickled to be buying angora yarn from a fishing store in a more usable yardage and reasonable price than can be found at the few yarn shops that carry it. A little Angora yarn here and there enhances all knitted products especially those for children.
Great for Catching Compliments!

Surprise! I use your product to add names to knitted Christmas stockings. It is soft and fuzzy, and adds a personal touch to the stockings.

I tied sucker spawn flies for Lake Erie Steelhead. The first day using these I caught numerous fish from 6lbs to 10lbs.

I am a knitter.I need about 30 yards of white angora yarn to complete Santa's face and beard on each Christmas stocking. The stocking pattern was handed down to me from my Grandmother; she found the pattern in a magazine in the 1940's.Each stocking is personalized with the child's name.It is our family tradition to knit a stocking for each new member of the family.Since her passing (about 25 years ago) I have knit about 40 stockings.True french, long hair angora is hard to find and very expensive at yarn stores!I discovered your on-line store several years ago.Thank you for helping me keep this wonderful family tradition alive into the 5th generation!!

I bought this yarn to knit and crochet border trims on wool garments for tiny baby dolls. It is fine enough to use a Susan Bates #2 crochet hook, and a #2 USA knitting needle!
Excellent Quality for Knitting, Crochet

I found this website looking for angora yarn for my knitting. I handknit and sell dog sweaters for tiny dogs, and the fake stuff doesn't hold up well in washing. Real angora stays fluffy and is strong, but usually is too expensive. The price here is better than any I have found, the colors are just what I needed, and the yarn is high quality and beautiful. (See more of our sweaters in our [...] store, "Meadowside Country Crafts.") I will be back for more!!

I confess, I used the yarn to make mittens, but people who fish need mittens too! French angora is the best and this company is great; I'll be sharing this site with a neighbor who is an avid fisherman.

Purchase the product to use in crocheting christmas stockings.

I had to wait several months for this to come back in stock, but it was worth the wait. I use this for making Christmas stockings and the angora is for Santa' s eyebrows and beard. This is the nicest angora I have found, even the angora in yarn shops does not come close.

I recently ordered some White Angora Yarn and it was put on backorder This was no problem. It stayed on backorder for quite a while. This was no problem either. Approximately once a week I would get an email saying they were waiting for the yarn from their supplier and they would ship as soon as it was received. I thought this information was wonderful. The yarn finally arrived and was shipped immediately. This is the way business ought to be handeled. I don`t fish with this yarn. I make Christmas Stockings for all the Kids, Grandkids, Great Grandkids and many friends. All the stockings have White Angora, Santa Claus, beards.
Angora yarn is excellent quality.

I use this item to knit. It is very difficult to find. The manufacturer (Belangor)is only selling it in 16 ball boxes which makes it very expensive if you need fewer balls.
Best angora yarn I have found anywhere!

I don't use the angora for fishing; I use it for knitting. For the price, it is the best angora I've found. I would recommend it to any knitter.
