Product Details

The Anchor Wizard Kayak Anchoring System eliminates having to touch wet anchor lines or letting them lie in a heap. The spool design holds and neatly winds up to 60 ft. of 1/8 in. anchor line in this complete anchoring mechanism for kayaks. Made from precision cast 319 aluminum, the Anchor Wizard can be installed onto any fishing kayak or track system in minutes! To operate, turn the handle back to drop anchor. This is a free-spooling release, but you control the drop speed by "feathering" the handle in a back-and-forth motion. Crank the handle forward and clockwise to lock the kayak anchoring system's spool. To pull up the anchor, crank the spool forward to bring in the line until your anchor slides into its flanged tubing for safe-keeping on top of your kayak. The Anchor Wizard system is a boon to kayak fishing mobility! Just release more line after anchoring so that you may fish along a bank, weed bed, or reposition yourself over underwater structures. Keep your hands dry and your fishing kayak anchored in place against wind and current by installing an Anchor Wizard Kayak Anchoring System!

no mounting instructions, will need more parts

it works and prevents a lot of rope on the limited space of a kayak but there are the hassles. i had to google utubes on how to mountit. most kayaks will require a mounting plate which anchor wizard is sold out of and i had to make my own, buy a plastic cutting board and more hardware to mount and also yak attack eyelets. if you own a fishing kayak, you are already used to make modifications to it. if not, this is not for you.
