This is the Diamondback All American fly rod Model AAR908. It is a 9' long, two piece rod designed for 8 weight line. It includes a small, fixed fighting butt.

This is a good choice for fishing pike and large or smallmouth bass with surface poppers and other wind resistant flies, or large steelhead and smaller salmon. This rod has plenty of strength for most light saltwater applications like redfish, snook, stripers and bluefish.
