Redington Crosswater Series Outfits
The Redington Crosswater Outfits are the shortest distance between you and the water. For the beginner fly angler, the Crosswater Outfit includes everything you need to get started. Included in this outfit is a two piece rod, a graphite disk-drag large-arbor Crosswater fly reel, a matching weight-forward fly line, a spool of 20 pound backing and a knotless leader. These outfits also include a one year manufacturer's warranty against defects that gives you the confidence you need at a price you can afford. The reel in this outfit is a Redington Crosswater reel, which is very similar to the Okuma Airframe reel.
The Crosswater Outfits come in two and four piece models. We stock the two piece models in 8', 8½' and 9' lengths. The 3/4, 4/5 and 5/6 models have the "A" handle. The 7/8 and 9/10 weight models have the "B" handle which includes a small (non-removable) fighting butt. These handles are shown in the images below.
