Okuma Magnitude Large Arbor Fly Reels
The large arbor design of the Okuma Magnitude gives this reel a faster line retrieval for a single action reel. Traditionally known as a specialty reel, large arbor reels have been fished only by the specialists. Okuma pioneered the affordable large arbors, and has refined the design with the new Magnitudes.
The Magnitude series features an integral one-way disc–drag system. This system allows for super smooth high-end drag pressure, yet the retrieval is completely drag-free.
The Magnitude is very similar to the Integrity except for its magnesium construction and lighter weight.
The Magnitude series boasts the following features:
- Large arbor spool for high-speed retrieves
- Precision magnesium frame and spool
- Oversized integral ball-bearing disc drag system
- Exposed rim for added control
- One-way roller bearing featuring one-way drag engagement
- Stainless steel main shaft
- Quick release spool with convertible left or right retrieve with tool provided
- Polished wooden handle knob
