As the name implies, Dai-Riki Velvet is Dai-Riki's most supple leader material, formulated for delicate presentations. If you enjoy matching the hatch to selective fish, this is the material for you.
Velvet is the only soft, high strength material on the market. Its flexibility allows you to make perfect presentations. Since presentation and drift of your fly are enhanced by this material, many times you can get away with using a heavier tippet. This translates into more landed fish with less stress. It also has the right amount of elasticity to prevent breakoffs when a fish makes an unexpected run.
This leader material comes on a 30 meter interlocking spool. It is light olive in color.
