This combo includes a 9' 0" 7/8 weight, two-piece Cortland FairPlay rod, a STH IM 3 disk drag cassette reel, Cortland 333HT WF8F Fly line and 150 yards of 20 pound backing.
The rod features a cork handle, uplocking reel seat and hook keeper. The reel is an STH IM size 3 cassette reel made in Argentina. It has an adjustable disk drag and a removable cassette spool system. This is a large capacity reel; it is 4" in diameter 1 1/2" wide. The fly line is a Cortland 333HT weight forward 8 weight line. The color of the line is yellow. We also include a 150 yard spool of 20 pound test white FairPlay backing to complete the outfit.
This is a great outfit for someone starting out fly fishing, or as a back-up outfit for the seasoned angler.
