Redington RS2 Outfits

The Redington RS2 fly fishing outfits offer the broadest series of fresh and saltwater rods available today. The machined gear-drag GD reel coupled with the RS2 rod provide a beautifully balanced system. In addition to the rod and reel, the outfit includes a weight-forward floating line, a knotless tapered leader, a spool of 20 pound test backing and a Cordura covered rod and reel carrier. Please note - the outfit may come with either a black or silver GD reel. Please contact us if you want to know what is in stock.

The rods included in the RS2 outfits come in both two piece and four piece models. The two piece models are designated "ORS2", and the four piece models are designated "OTRS2" (the "T" stands for the travel version). All of the rod models in weights 2 through 6 have the wood reel seat insert, and all the models in weights 7 through 10 have the stainless reel seat and a small (non-removable) fighting butt. The rod handles are shown in the images below.
