G. Loomis GL3 9' 7 wt. Fly Rod

Model FR1087

This is a powerful rod for a variety of fly fishing situations. Excellent for trout where streamers and sinking lines are used, it's also a good start-up size for bonefish in light wind conditions. What's more, it'll handle smallmouth bass and other warmwater fish that require streamer flies and popping bugs. This is a very popular rod for steelhead fishing on the Great Lakes tributaries. It has Loomis handle 53, which has a small fighting butt.
