A good winter-run rod. A great summer-run rod. In other words, our best all-around steelhead rod. This is an especially good choice for fishing small to medium-sized rivers where you have sufficient room to work a fish once it's hooked. It balances perfectly with ten pound line and half-ounce lures and it's surprisingly strong. Strong enough, in fact, to handle most smaller salmon species.
