A very versatile all-purpose size, one step up from the 8/9. If you had to choose just one rod to cross over from summer to wintertime, this would be it. It's light enough to comfortably fish the summer runs, but has a little more power for the heavier sinking lines typically used through winter-run conditions. A good light-duty Atlantic salmon rod.
