This is a short, light action trout and panfish rod designed to allow you to fish small to medium-sized flies on creeks and small streams where low, overhanging branches and shoreline brush restrict normal casting methods. It's a nice, soft, light-action rod for short, precise casts with light leaders, and it works especially well in windy conditions thanks to its shorter, lower-profile casting stroke.
