Cortland Rod Warranty

Standard Cortland Limited Lifetime Warranty


Cortland describes its warranty on its Big Sky, Brook, Endurance, GRX and Precision XC rods generally as follows:

Your new Cortland Rod is unconditionally guaranteed against breakage or manufacturer's defects for the lifetime of the original owner. It covers the repair or, at Cortland's option, replacement of the rod only and is subject to the original owners completing and returning the warranty card within 10 days of purchasing the rod.

The entire rod must be sent to Cortland; the warranty does not cover lost sections or lost rods. The original owner is responsible for the cost of sending in the rod to be repaired or replaced and a return shipping, handling and mailing insurance charge will be applied to all warranty claims. The warranty does not include intentional breakage. This guarantee gives you specific, limited legal rights. You may nave additional rights under applicable state law.

Rods should be properly packaged and insured. A copy of the tag, store receipt showing date of purchase, $15.00 for domestic return shipping and handling must accompany all claims. If outside the U.S. please remit $40.00 for shipping and handling.
