Description

The TripZ Divers - Size 30 allows the angler to target specific depth ranges when trolling. The TripZ features a patented release so you fight the fish and not the diver during the retrieve. This feature also aids when changing out lures. The release is fully adjustable and releases on the strike. The TripZ Divers - Size 30 dives to approximately 30 feet. The multiple depth setting allows for slight variations in depth to target fish in areas outside the standard setting.

The TripZ Divers are buoyant and float at rest, perfect for trolling structure, back-trolling large rivers and trolling big water. The internal rattle and custom finishes attract fish from a wide area.

Specifications for the TripZ Divers - Size 30 can be seen in the Specifications tab above.

 Trip Z 30
Pros: Gets down to the fish, Great on retrieves
Cons: the trip mechanism is a little stiff on the 30'S
Best Uses: trolling for perch and walleye
Comments: Love both sizes 20 and 30. The trip mechanism is a little tight and the adjustment screw really doesn't do much, have to take flat head screw driver and carefully pry open catch area, also the floating issue compared to the jet diver - doesn't. But overall it's great and I plan on buying more.

 Okay, but problematic
Pros: Good color and sz select, Easy to use, Help spot small fish on, Retrieve easy when tript
Cons: Can't tell when tripped, Trip too easy
Best Uses: Good for planner boards, Good for shallow walleye
Comments: The product works great for precision trolling walleye in Lake Erie. They retrieve easily once tripped. The only problem is that they can be tripped when setting lines and it's hard to tell if it's tripped or not. And if you tighten them enough to avoid premature trips, they won't trip on small fish (white bass, etc). Are they a real improvement over the stardard Jet diver??? Maybe. I'll keep using mine, but later this season in the central basin when trolling back 100 ft or more, I'll adjust to avoid premature trips.
