Uni-Thread 6/0

Description

Uni Thread is comprised of strong, continuous polyester filaments. The properties of this thread allow it lay flat on the hook or can be "twisted" tight by spinning the tying bobbin.

The 6/0 (130 Denier) is used for general tying of streamers, nymphs and dry flies. The 6/0 thread is extremely strong for its diameter.

These threads come on spools containing 200 yards of material.

We carry the Uni-Thread 6/0 in the colors shown in the table below.

Great for dry flies and nymphs
Pros: Easy To Store, Good For Variety Of Fish, Easy To Handle
Best Uses: Fresh Water
Comments: Uni-threads take up 75% of my thread rack. I tie a lot of dry flies and nymphs with the 6/0, and use the 3/0 for larger flies (wooly buggers, sucker spawn, etc). I consider it the industry standard.
