UTC Ultra Thread 140 & 210 Denier

Description

Ultra Thread is a strong, flat, smooth, lightly waxed, slow building nylon thread.

UTC 140 is great general purpose thread for trout and other flies in the 6 to 16 size. The breaking strength of this thread is about two pounds. This thread will serve the beginning fly tier well, as it is not too bulky and its strength prevents breaking the thread until proper techniques are learned.

UTC 210 is an excellent for deer hair, steelhead, salmon, saltwater, and other flies in the 1/0 to 12 size. The breaking strength of this thread is about three pounds.

Each package contains 100 yards of material and comes on spools.

The UTC Ultra Thread 140 & 210 Denier is made in the U.S.A.

Comments: I recently switched to UTC after trying a lot of other threads. Needless to say i have every color of UTC 140 and 210 offered by fishusa. I wouldnt use another thread after using UTC.
 Great Thread
Pros: Lots of colors, good sizes, strong
Comments: Like most tyers, I've tried a wide range of threads but my favorite remains Ultra Thread. My local shops carry some, but not all colors and sizes so I was pleased to find everything I needed at FishUSA and bought myself a "lifetime" supply. Great product, works best if you match the thread size to your fly sizes. Lays flat or you can spin it for a narrower look.

I will buy more soon, more colors
Pros: Easy To Use, Very strong, Seen in fly tying boks, Durable, Good price, Functional, Easy To Maintain
Best Uses: Trout Crappie and Bass, Fresh Water, Adding tails to spinners
Comments: I am new to fly tying but this product was recommended to me by a friend who has been tying flies for over 60 years for Trout we have branched out to flies for Bass and Crappie. We live much closer to great Bass and Crappie fishing than Trout and I have not done much Trout fishing but I am learning. For this product to stand up to me it has to be good because I know I pull things pretty tight just not use to the delicate part yet. I get a coupon for $5 for doing the survey but that could not buy a good rating if it did not deserve it.
