Thomas Colorado Spoons are wobbler type spoons that are great baitfish imitators. These lures feature jewelry quality two-tone finishes and an engraved half-scale pattern. This combination creates a highly reflective flash that triggers all types of gamefish to strike, especially trout.

Colorado Spoons work best when used with a slow stop and go retrieve, with occasional sharp twitches to bring out the hard strikes.

Thomas Colorado Spoons are made in the U.S.A.

 Great Lure
Pros: Fish LOVE Thomas Lures, Quality made in USA, the best
Cons: hard to find in stores
Best Uses: All fish that are alive
Comments: I bought one of these back in the 1960's at a going out of business sale. After using it over a weekend I went back and bought all that the store had. About two years later I lost the last one and have been looking for them ever since until I tried google. I just bought my son and a few friends some. I have caught trout, crappie, bass (salt and fresh water) and even a four pound catfish on them. Can't say enough !!!!

Small Profile Lure to Use in Shallows
Comments: I've recently been frustrated pursuing a variety of sport fish pursuing baitfish in the shallows of Presque Isle Bay and tributaries into Lake Erie. My spoons were too big and did not match the coloration of the prey and my jerkbaits were hanging up on the shallow bottom. One solution is the Thomas Colorado Lure - it has a small profile, casts well, and has two color combinations that predators find appealing in good light and clearer water (I haven't fished these in dirty water yet and I don't know how they would do in gin clear water either). The scaled surface does a good job reflecting the light, the lighter weight and smaller size and the fish find it appealing, even when they are being finicky.

Good Trout Lure
Pros: the best
Cons: hard to find in stores
Best Uses: Trout in moving water
Comments: must buy if fishing for trout, if nothing else is working this is my go to lure.
Colorado Spoon 1/6 oz casting...1/10 oz trolling
Pros: the best
Cons: hard to find in stores
Best Uses: Trout in moving water
Comments: I have caught more trout with this lure than all of the other lures I've used combined. I'm 62...I've caught a lot of trout, but this is by far my favorite lure. The only thing that will out fish it is a live minnow, and that is not a fair comparison. Seriously, the reason it is so good is that even at the slowest of retrieve speeds that are necessary in cold water, the lure still maintains its lifelike wobble where other lures will belly up and glide. Good product!

Cons: Treble Hooks
Best Uses: Trout in moving water
Comments: Works best for me through runs/riffles with good water volume. Valuable spoon when the wind starts blowing up the canyons. Can work it near surface or down to about 8ft.

Fishing in Wyoming for trout this is the greatest lure ever. I have all the colors but nickel silver is my favorite.
Pros: the best
Cons: hard to find in stores
Comments: Cast upstream let it get close to bottom, real very slow with jerking action and get ready.
Great Lure!
Pros: Cast perfect, Fish LOVE Thomas Lures
Comments: This lure has been in my tackle for as long as I can remember. It's my go-to lure. Works great in cloudy or murky waters and obviously, clear waters too. I fish Pennsylvania and catch at least 2/3 of trout using this spoon. Often, I will paint the top a pearl color with a single blue, red or black stripe down the middle (pearl mini in Colorado Spoon form) and find it to work great as well. Either way, if this lure is on your line, you will catch fish. Excellent product.

 Great trout slayers!
Pros: Quality made in USA
Comments: I use the Colorado spoons for trout fishing in Arkansas and Oklahoma. They are high quality don't show wear and tear after just a couple of uses (2 to 4 hours steady fishing). I find they attract trout better than many other lures and they throw nice and accurate. Highly recommend these lures.
 Thomas Colorado
