Description

Spend a little time with an avid steelhead fisherman and you will quickly learn "they never leave well enough alone." These Premium Steelhead Floats feature line-friendly latex tubing in place of the standard spring which holds tight without nicking your line. Additionally, the buoyant balsa body is fitted lower on the shortened float shaft providing a more compact yet highly visible float.

These are "loose" floats (i.e., they do not come in a separate package) and they are priced per one float.

Best floats I have ever used
Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Functional, Easy To Maintain
Best Uses: Fresh Water
Comments: I really like how durable they are and the rubber tube is so much better than the spring. It doesn't wear your line, is easier to adjust the depth, and installs and removes quickly. Very good idea and the best float I have ever used.

 best I have used
Pros: Easy To Maintain, Durable, Functional, Easy To Use
Best Uses: Fresh Water
Comments: putting a rubber band on the top, with live bait, like minnows does not work, because the bait swims around the bobber, and makes a birds nest. About the metal wieght slipping off, just pinch it.

 thill steel head float
Pros: Easy To Use, Functional
Best Uses: Fresh Water
Comments: This is a good float for river fishing and the size range is good also. The only improvements I would make is to add the slip tube for the top of the float and tighten up the radius on the lead ring so it doesn't slip off as easy.
Q&A
Customer Questions and Answers
Ask a Question
Dumbest question is one not asked. So, just how is this float attached to line. Does line pass thru float like a slip bobber.

There is an open hook on the bottom of the shaft where the line is run and then the latex sleeve is slid down over the line and shaft to secure the float. So the line does NOT pass through the float like a slip bobber. The only connection to the line is on the bottom of the shaft.
