 Quality balsa slip bobber
Pros: castability
Comments: I use the 1" with shiners to fish for LM/SM Bass, Crappie, and Perch. High quality and easily visible. Always lets me know when something is on my bait.

Pros: highly visible, castability, effectiveness
Best Uses: fishing shallow water where fish spook easily, bluegill fishing
Comments: I'm a panfish fishermen and absoutely love Thill slip bobbers. I was looking at other sites for price comparison and bought the 3/4 slips for a very reasonable price. Thought the bobber I use is a bit smaller than what I would have normally used, I am very pleased and impressed. They provide excellent strike indication and even use them not only with live bait like crickets, but willl occassionaly throw a plastic on with great results.

This is exactly what I've searched
Comments: This is exactly what I've searched. Big enough, Slip float. I use it for trout. I think it will work fine for bass too. I'm happy.

Thill Slip Floats Work Great in Tidal Esturaries too
Pros: cost, visibility, weight, castability, effectiveness
Cons: paint fades in stong sunlight
Best Uses: fishing shallow water where fish spook easily
Comments: I have been using the Thill 4 inch slip float in Australian salt water esturaries to catch Luderick (look a bit like a small mouth bass). I use the slip float in combination with a Rapala 7 foot graphite rod and Shimano 2000 series spin reel. The float is easy to cast and drifts nicely in the current. Its relatively light weight is a big advantage in not detering fish from biting. The high visibility paint allows the float to be seen clearly even under choppy water conditions. And the price, too cheap!!
