 Excellent rod
Pros: action, blank, cork grip
Cons: rod butt length (this is a preference)
Best Uses: saltwater, freshwater
Comments: First off I use this rod for saltwater/ brackish mainly for wading. The rod butt was shorter than I would prefer, so my casting is limited. What it lacks in butt length is made up by its action, I love moderate rods as it does most of the work during the cast making it easier on the angler. Because of the action of the rod it can take heavier lures with ease, I pushed it up to 2 ozs and it flies with ease!, that's with a max lure rating of 3/4 ozs. I got the 9 ft medium action model, I wish I purchased the medium heavy for its backbone when setting hooks, luckily the stretch proof braids should make up for the medium action. All in all this is now my new favorite and my main back-bay rod, casting is beautiful and effortless, definitely feels like a higher end rod. With all this and TFO's warranty this rod is tough to beat.

 Just what I wanted...
Pros: Nicely finished, good value for price
Comments: Been looking for a nice steelhead rod, didn't want to spend 400 for a Loomis, this is close enough. It would get a 5 instead of a 4 if the handle cork was AA instead of A. I'm getting another one for my girlfriend. A High Quality product. Thanks Temple Fork and GL.
Cons: would like it in split grip style
Best Uses: steelhead baby
Comments: awsome rod for price great sensitivity
