Sunline Siglon F Fluorescent Monofilament Line

$10.95 - $11.95
Sale $9.86 - $10.76
Description

Sunline Siglon F Fluorescent Monofilament Line provides optimum performance due to a unique process that fills the spaces between the nylon molecules with resin. As a result, Siglon F is moisture-proof, curl free, strong and shock-resistant - in other words, it is the ideal fishing line. A special technique also prevents the fluorescent color of the line from fading.

Siglon F also offers another tremendous advantage - it is unaffected by ultraviolet rays. As a result, it remains strong and flexible no mater how long or how often it is used.

Features of Sunline Siglon F Fluorescent Monofilament Line include:

  • Line is unaffected by ultraviolet rays
  • Popular for center-pin and drift fishing techniques
  • Spool size is small (less than 3" across) so it can fit in a pocket
  • Remains strong and flexible no mater how long or how often it is used

Sunline Siglon F fluorescent fish line
Pros: Excellent
Cons: none as of yet
Best Uses: float fishing
Comments: Worked well as we fish alot at night in a lighted pear setting. Just attach a darker line to the end as a leader and off you go.
 So far so good
Pros: MONO THAT FLOATS
Comments: So far so good. I haven't hooked on to anything worth bragging about, so I'll have to update at the end of the Skamania season. So far, no complaints!

I really like this line for the price
Pros: Floats well, very strong, nice stretch, holds knots great
Cons: None yet
Best Uses: Strong centerpin mainline
Comments: I suggest pink. You can see it in any weather condition. Lines floats very well and when it does sink from not paying attention it will snap right back to the top with a quick twitch. Great line for price and you get 330 yards. Enough for two reels where I fish and how i fish

 Good Float Line
Comments: This line is advertized to float. It does for a while, but then seems to lose that quality. It's decent line.

 Best I've Tried
Pros: easy to see, It floats, Easy Mending, Strong
Cons: Initial line memory
Best Uses: Steelhead drift fishing
Comments: This is my favorite steelhead line by far. It rides nicely on top of the water making mends easy. It does have some memory initially until it get stretched a little. Worried that it may be old. They no longer manufacture this line but I've yet to have any issues with it.

 Would recommend to anyone.
Pros: Easy To Handle
Cons: Limited Use
Best Uses: Fresh Water
Comments: I would recommend this product to anyone tying their own euro nymphing leaders. Combine both colors for a great mono sighter. The mono comes in smaller diameters than other materials used for sighters.

Too much memmoy
Comments: I have been using Siglon F for a year now on my center pin. This line seems to have a lot of memmory. After landing a few fish the line starts twisting to the point it's unusable. I then have to strip a bunch of line off my reel so im able to cast again...very frustrating. Maybe I got a bad spool? I'll most likely try it one more time since I like its visibility and strength.

4th time I've purchased this line
Pros: Rugged and long lasting, Mends well, Easy To Handle, Good For Variety Of Fish, VERY VISIBLE, Strong, Easy To Store
Cons: Bad spool design, Difficult to Handle
Best Uses: Fresh Water, Steelhead drift fishing
Comments: I use the Siglon as a base line with a flourocarbon leader. Line mends well and is long lasting and can handle lots of wear and tear. Spool design is poor due to the shape of the spool which makes it tougher to transfer line to reel.

 What a great product!
Pros: Strong, Easy To Handle
Best Uses: Shore Casting, Fresh Water
Comments: I bought this product in orange and in 6lb. and 8lb for use on my centrepins. It is fairly thin - a good quality - and supple. More importantly, it is strong at the knot. But probably the most important reason I bought it is its floating quality. I have only used the 6lb. on a new centrepin and a homemade custom 11' noodle rod. While fishing it I went to to a 3lb. tippet; it was a perfect combination. Only fished the product one day but I wouldn't use any other product on any of my centrepins.

The Best Line for Float Fishing
Pros: Good For Variety Of Fish, Great in Cold Weather, Easy To Store, Easy To Handle, Strong, easy to see, Floats Well
Cons: Got Pricey over the years
Best Uses: Fresh Water, float fishing
Comments: I've been using this line on my centrepin reels long before it was available in the US. It has always been the best line I have found for Float Fishing the Great Lakes Tributaries. I have never found the bright colors to make a difference to the fish, but it makes it so much easier for the fisherman or fisherwoman and even more so for the kids.

I would hate to be with out this line.
Pros: Easy to mend, Easy To Handle
Best Uses: On Centerpin
Comments: I fish Steelhead with this line on a centerpin up to 100 days a year. For years now it has been the only line i would use for float fishing. If you fish floats, this is your main line. I will use Siglon F until Sunlines stops making it.

Great Steelehead line
Pros: Strong
Best Uses: Fresh Water
Comments: Awesome line for drift fishing steelehead streams. I use a spinning set up and float spawn almost exclusively. Line is easy to see and helps you when you need to mend your line from drifting ahead of the float. Fish don't seem to mind the yellowish orange color as long as you use a florocarbon leader.

 Great for float-fising apps.!
Pros: Easy To Handle, Easy To Store, Good For Variety Of Fish, Fish Don't Escape
Cons: Limited Use
Best Uses: Fresh Water, Float fishing 5-star
Comments: I honestly can see this product being relegated(for me)to a "float-fishing" only application! H2O resistance is 100% however, this mono is extremely stiff and will NOT behave well on reels other than C-pin's I'm afraid!

A little weak on the knot
Pros: Easy To Handle
Cons: Limited Use
Best Uses: Fresh Water
Comments: I tryed this line in several different type of situations, Yes it floats, but will sink like any other mono after limited use.. also found the KNOT strenght too be weak. I lost a very nice lure and bass by it breaking at the knot on the jerk. Never did turn the fish. Normally I use 14 too 17 Lb test in bass pro lines, but could only order this in a 12 lb test. Also I find these companys trying to cut the diamator of the line down and still claiming the LB test still hold up.. I realy don't believe this either. yes they make it thinner but also it make it weaker at the knots.. and also it make you use more of the line too spool a reel. Therefore they sale more of the line.

 Great Topwater Line
Pros: Easy To Handle, Fish Don't Escape
Cons: Memory
Best Uses: Topwater
Comments: Everyone knows that specific lines perform differently. Do you spool up every reel with the same line? Well if you do then...... anyways. The Siglon F Monofilament is what I have tried specifically for topwater only. A floating mono is a great idea, best performance yet on the topwater lures. To me it had great resistance to abrassion but the line memory was a little more than I expected. The shelf life and advertised resistance to UV rays are expected to keep the angler from having to change the line all that often, we'll see come this upcoming season when the ice is gone and the bite is on. If you are like me and willing to try out new products in our ever changing tackle world, give this line a try 'cuz you might like it too.

You have got to try this
Pros: Casts Well, Easy To Handle, Floats Well, Fish Don't Escape, Great for Topwater, Very strong
Cons: Expensive But Worth It
Best Uses: Topwater, Fresh Water
Comments: Being a avid topwater fisherman, I read in BM about a new line that is made especially for topwater comming out in 08. I couldn't find that line but in my search came across Siglon F. It caught my eye because it is constructed in the same way as the line that I was searchiing for. I must say that on the first topwater cast with a popper, I was the one hooked! (I did catch a nice Bass too!) This is the only line I'll use now for fishing on top. Love it!

 Best float line available!!
Pros: Fish Don't Escape, Easy To Handle, MONO THAT FLOATS, Easy To Store
Cons: Hard to find
Best Uses: Fresh Water
Comments: This stuff really works. As far as float fishing goes, you have the floating aspect you normally get from a braid, but you also have the stretch of mono which allows forgiveness, it also is hi-viz. Recently landed a 17lb steelhead without the least bit of worries in the line. Great Stuff!!
