A Stream Thermometer is one of the most valuable items a trout angler can carry, as trout feed actively at water temperature from 50° to 65° degrees Fahrenheit. Bass, saltwater flats, and other anglers are learning the value of knowing water temperature, and how this affects the species they are pursuing.

This thermometer reads from -30° to 50° degrees Celsius and -20° to 120° degrees Fahrenheit. The case is made from metal, includes a split-ring for attaching to a vest, and a pocket clip. The length is 638 inches.

Comments: very good quality and functional design for determining critical water temperatures for fishing.
Old Eagle
 Great stream tool
Pros: Quick Reading
Comments: My boat's depth finders read surface temp. Stream temps are just as important as a factor in fish behavior. Temps can help determine which lures and presentations might catch fish. A fishing journal that notes conditions, weather ,wind, moon phase and water temperature throughout the year can really help fishing success. This thermometer reads Quickly and is easy to use. I cushioned the bulb end with a small piece of silicone tubing.
 Accurate & fast reading
Comments: I tested this thermometer with a glass of ice water (suppose to be 0 C). It was accurate! Reading is also fast enough. No more than 5-10 seconds in normal brooks. Has a metal shell and pen clip.
