Great rod.Very hard to find in a 2 Piece version.
Pros: great rod
Comments: I got this new Premier rod from FishUSA.I do a lot of fly in fishing trips and love to take my small casting reels but at times getting the 1 piece casting rods in a small plane is next to impossible.I looked all over the place for a 2 piece casting rod in a light or medium light action and found the St. Croix.I never handled one before, and I just ordered it. It came nicely packaged so no chance of breakage. It is a super nice rod with a really light action. I did find it $10 cheaper somewheres else but in all my years of buying from FishUSA and never a problem with anything with them, decided the $10 was not a big deal. Very seldom have I looked for an item they did not have,

Comments: Only rods I buy now, own about a dozen, strong, durable and good prices, FishUSA was the only place I could find the model I wanted besides going direct from St. Croix and they encourage purchasing their rods from dealers.

Pros: Easy To Transport, Durable, Feather Weight, Accurate Casting, Lightweight
Cons: Too early to tell
Best Uses: inshore
Comments: I love the way this feel, very light, easy to transport, casts far for it's small size. I own several St. Croix (3 triump spinning rods). The Primier casting rod was a good choice.

 I love this rod
Pros: Sensitive, Good Tip Action, Made in the USA, Lightweight
Cons: Cost
Best Uses: River Fishing, Small Fish, Large Fish
Comments: This rod is more expensive than most, but I feel that it's worth the extra cost. I get to support American workers, and get a rod that is light and pleasant to use. I can't say exactly why, but I just love the feel of this rod when casting and fighting fish.
