 One of the best rods
Pros: lightweight and sensitivity
Comments: I bought this St.Croix Legend Extreme because it felt good in my hands. It was what I was looking for as far as spec. I've own a Bass Legend Shakin before and it was a really good rod. St.Croix Legend series are one of the best rods out there. That's the reason why I bought this rod.

 A winner (from prior model)
Pros: Sensitive, Accurate Casting, Durable, Flexible, Good Tip Action
Cons: Hard To Transport
Best Uses: River Fishing, Large Fish
Comments: I odered this rod on the strength of the Spring Outdoor Life fishing gear trials. 1st trip was to Lake Powell where this rod combined with the Shimano Symetre and 8# test Firewire Fusion outcast all my compadres into the Striped Bass boils. The rod easily handled STriped Bass to 5# and they can really pull, as well as pinpoint casts to structure for Smallies to 20" and even a 21" Walleye. I am completely satisfied, though I am am concerned about transporting a 7' 6" 1 piece to Canada next summer.
