Pros: sensitivity, durability, value
Cons: can't think of any
Best Uses: trolling, jigging
Comments: Used these rods up on Saginaw Bay trolling for the eyes and absolutely hammered them. Worked excellent with planer boards and crawler harnesses and crank baits. Great sensitivity on the "hit" and we only lost 1 fish to missing the bite (suspect it was a perch). There was no comparison with these 2 rods to the others used, these were far superior and landed most of the fish. That included landing a 33" carp weighing in at 26 lbs. I'm very pleased with the St. Croix line of rods that I have purchased. I also get many compliments on the St. Croix fishing team shirt.

 St. Croix Walleye Trolling Rod
Comments: This is my 7th St. Croix fishing rod and I love it. I haven't used it yet but can't wait to get out on Lake Huron (Saginaw Bay) and Lake Erie to troll for the "eyes". I've had great success with the other St. Croix rods and purchased this rod solely for trolling for eyes. I like the strike action with St. Croix tips/rods - the sensitivity is outstanding.
