Simms Freestone Breathable Stockingfoot Chest Waders

Simms Freestone Breathable Stockingfoot Chest Waders offer anglers premium waders at an affordable price. These waders are constructed of waterproof 4-layer Toray QuadraLam fabric that repels water and breathes easy. Articulated patterning combined with center leg seam construction offer the ultimate in fit, comfort, and mobility while preventing abrasion leaks. To provide a more comfortable, glove-like fit, Simms utilized an hourglass stockingfoot pattern that eliminates excess material in your boots.

So far, so good (from prior model)
Pros: Corfortable, Look nice, Good Fit
Comments: I use my waders extensively for fall salmon and steelhead fishing (more than 20hr/wk). Typically I buy cheap breathable waders that fall apart after a year but I decided to try a higher end wader this season. Most leaks in waders I've owned have occured on inside leg seams. Simms has moved these seams to the front and back of the legs. Since I've only had them a couple weeks its hard to say what the durability will be like in the long run but I like the idea and feel so far. One definate advantage to the Simms is that many sizes are available. These are probably the best fitting waders I've ever owned with just enough room for a few layers underneath. So far, so good.
