 Ok rods
Pros: Price
Cons: Heavy action
Best Uses: Lead core or dipsy diver
Comments: I bought the 8' medium rods. I bought these for erie walleye trolling. Should have got the medium light action. Theses rods are a little in the heavy side too. But hey decent rod for $29.95.

 Shimano TDR trolling rod
Pros: Great trolling rod, Durable, just the right back bone, best price
Best Uses: Large Fish, boat rod, trolling
Comments: I use them on Stripers in the Arkansas lakes and have had great luck with them. They are used for trolling only and take the strikes from large fish very well.

 Great dipsey rod
Pros: great price, just the right back bone, good tip action.
Cons: no hook holder, I did have snap in half on me one, may have been a fluke though been using them for awhile now.
Best Uses: dipsey rods
Comments: Great all around dipsey rod for walleye and salmon. I use the 8 footer for inside dipsey and 8 1/2 foot for the outside. I like the medium heavy rods.

 Good rod for the money
Pros: Lightweight, Durable, Flexible
Best Uses: Large Fish
Comments: I have 2 9ft rods with okuma line counters. These are great for trolling with walker deeper divers. They are limber but still have plenty of backbone to handle big fish. I will be buying more of these in the near future.

 Great value and quality combined
Pros: Flexible, Durable, Easy To Transport
Best Uses: Large Fish, Ocean Fishing, River Fishing
Comments: If you want to get a bunch of trolling rods, that are cost effective, will work for any type of trolling, are light, and built well. Get some of these. I am using the Med Heavy with Walker Tripz Jets for Walleye as well as for Salmon and Brown trout. These would work well for all species including musky.

"Great trolling rod for the price!!"
Pros: Durable, Good Tip Action
Best Uses: Large Fish, Ocean Fishing
Comments: I have fished with this rod for several years, primarily used for ocean salmon fishing. It has proven itself on many occasions, sensitive enough to provide excellent hookups yet tough enough to battle a 40# head shaker. I liked the rod so much that I purchased one for my fishing buddy.

Comments: bought this rod because it was recommended by the website "salmon university", and I've had no complaints so far. shimano is usually pretty good stuff, and this rod is great for downrigger use (fiberglass so it's durable, good action). I recommend it highly.

These are great Rods for the money
Pros: Durable, Flexible, Sensitive, Good Tip Action
Best Uses: Large Fish, Downrigger, trolling, Ocean Fishing
Comments: My husband wasn't sure when I bought these rods, mainly because of the price, very reasonable, but when we used them and when he saw the bend he could put on them, he cranks them down quite a bit when they are on the downriggers, he was very impressed. We have 4 of these rods and use them every year Salmon fishing Lake Superior.
